There are no rider mode settings.
    No traction control settings.
Tried to find the answer on the web, but cannot, maybe some of you more knowledgeable people have the answer
    Thank you

Not 100% sure what you are ashing but they are using the 94R to get rid of the old bikes without the fly by wire throttle.

Just bought a 2016 94r but after looking in the handbook and the bikes computer too, there is no mention of either.

The 2016 94r is the same as the 2015 R without the arrows, just like the 2015 R was just like the 2014 R without the PVM wheels. Seems like we are getting less and less for our money.

Anthony, sounds like your dealer should have explained things to you. The 94r (and 94) are just a cosmetic "special edition" of the previous model that's been around for a few years. So consequently there's no fly-by-wire throttle or associated rider modes. The latest (2016) model is a substantial update to comply with the new euro4 regs. The latest model has many updates to engine , including rider modes and updated cosmetics. Different headlights, fly-screen and seat are the most obvious visual giveaways. More details on the differences can be found here and here.

That's where my confusion lies. Mine has the arrows cans.fly screen and seat and looks exactly the same as in the link you supplied same lights etc. Mystery.. thanks anyway. I'll dig a bit deeper

First "here" link takes you to the older models which are still available, second "here" link is to the new models, look carefully and you'll notice the lights are a different shape, etc. etc.
I assume your Arrows came via the £1000 accessories deal Triumph are offering. That deal is only on the older models, as incentive to help dealers shift remaining stock of the older model. Fool proof way of telling old model from new - old has rider and pillion seat as one piece, new model the pillion seat lifts away separately from the rider seat.
As you rightly say the older model has no rider modes or traction control (or gear position indicator).

Personally I made sure I got one of the older models (late last year) as I want a bike that I am able to self maintain/service once the warranty is finished, that's unlikely to be possible on the new bike with the new ECU and extra electronics.

Sorted and correct on all points above. Mine does not have the air vent in fly screen. The arrows were on. Plus I got 1300 of extras fitted for the 1000 accessories deal. I think I got a very good deal undead and not complaining. Just wondered what the difference was.like you for my riding the modes would never get used anyway. Thanks for all inputs. Time to enjoy
