OK So there's no such thing as a stupid question...……………..

I'm about to fit a hard-wired charging/optimising plug to the 2016 TS and was just going to disconnect/reconnect the battery to do it. Seen different comments re warning lights and 3 x Hot/Cold cycles etc but will this cause any issues apart from resetting the clock? Is it an idea to jump lead from another battery?

You know what they say, if in doubt - ask! ………….

Disconnect & reconnect a battery should present no problems at all. Just don't short across the terminals !!

Disconnect the Negative Earth lead first (Black Lead) followed by the Positive power lead second (Red Lead)
When reconnecting connect the Positive (Red Lead) first followed by the Negative (Black) lead.
