Thanks for the reply, having had a look, is it the one that seems to go nowhere with a looped connector plugged into it which is situated to the rear of the battery resting on the mudguard?

Excellent :) thank you....so the OBD 2 just arrived , downladed the app, plugged the reader into the port , it threw up one error ( which I didn’t note but I think it was the battery...cleared the fault and the engine light went out
so that looks like a good £11 spent

One of the best investments for this bike, man. The amount of time and money I've saved by not having to bring the bike to the dealer every time a warning light comes on!...
Also great for synching throttle heads.

I'm thinking I should get an ODB2 reader that understands bikes. Which reader did you get and what system does the app run on? I don't have a Windows PC but have an old Android mobile I can sacrifice for running dodgy apps.

The box has a QR code in it...which directs you to the app....inCarDoc... that is the one that worked, but on a you tube video I watched ( posted somewhere on here) the app was called Car Scanner...I’ve got both and will try that one next time

    picture below.... £11.99
