    Hi Guys

just got myself a 2012 speed triple and the rear is getting quite square...any suggestions for decent all year tires that can cope with cold and damp roads?

Still not got my hands on mine yet (13 days to go), so can't speak for the Triple itself but for my current bike (Yamaha XJ6) the best year round tyre I found in just over 5 years was the Pirelli Angel's which I think have since been slightly updated.

Looking forward to see what the experienced folk say on this one, as I use my bike all year round (pretty much everything but snow)......so will deffo keep an eye on this one!

Had pilot road 3s on my last speedy and pilot road 4s on my current R, great tires in the wet, very confidence inspiring.

My experience is with the Metzeler M5's, but since getting a puncture this morning, and only 1mm left of usable tread left I have ordered the Metzeler Z8's.
I found a pair on Ebay through a dealer selling the pair for £150 delivered next working day. They were molded in 2011, but I don't have an issue with that.
I understand the M5 to be sportier, and the Z8 to be more touring orientated, but both have got glowing reviews.
The sizing on my 2010 Speedie is 180/55ZR17 rear and 120/70 ZR17

Good choice, so much grip and they give you loads of confidence.
