Thinking of this one myself Murph. Reads very well, with great capabilities. Browsing the forum to see if any other viable alternatives. Let me know if you find anything

Don't forget you will also need the correct cable.

I did buy this tool, capable of everything I need from service reset to balancing throttle bodies and abs bleeding. Recommend

[QUOTE=very easy set up, you receive the tool and disc, once loaded on your pc the company email you an access code and she’s all up and running. Excellent backup service from dealertool as well

    Hi Folks.
Sounds like dealer tool is a good thing.
I have tuneecu which is very good considering it’s free but has a few limitations namely the abs bleed function is not there and the pc - cable version won’t clear the service interval.
This can be done with the android version but that costs 10.99 which is cheap enough so long as you already have an Android device and a Bluetooth adapter.
I believe the Android will also download maps but only when connected by cable? It’s not quite joined up.
Is the dealer tool the full package?
Can you download “hex” maps from the tune ecu webpage to the bike using dealer tool??

Just had my DealerTool land today, excellent service btw, so service is on for the weekend. I don’t believe DealerTool has the function to change maps.

Unfortunately I can’t see a way to download maps via dealertool, they are very helpful so maybe drop them an email to confirm if that is correct

If you service you own bikes, I have found it possible it learn to ignore the spanner icon and -999 mile to service indicator when starting the bike...

Annoying Triumph won’t let you just reset it without a computer...

Not sure how ‘legal’ that is as there are rules about servicing and warranty meaning you don’t have to use main dealers anymore to keep the warranty valid.

    Thanks for the replies folks.
Sounds like there isn’t a “perfect package” for the home servicer then.
