Hi I'm new on here. If there is anyone who has had experience with both the daytona t595 and post 2002 facelift 955i I'd appreciate a chat.

    Cheers

    Welcome to Dfryer

From what I understand both bikes are very good, If you can get hold of one of the 100th anniversary bikes they are well worth getting as the engine internals were different as well as a few carbon bits.

Have you got a specific bike in mind or not yet at the moment. I prefer the earlier bikes ( T595's) but at the moment I haven't got room in my garage for 2 Daytona's (unless it's a Super III)

    Cheers

Cheers Steve. Well I've decided I definitely want a t595 or post 2002 955i. I love the look of the t595, the rear air inlets just below the seat cowl, the raised hump, the carbon infills either side of the dials, and many seem to have the carbon high level exhaust.

However from all I've read, the 955i post 2002 has a more comfortable seat, more comfortable bars, a better engine, 180 rear instead of 190 and a double swing arm not single, and due to the swing arm and rear tyre it's meant to corner much better.

As I've not found either type close to me in a garage I've not been able to ride either. Was wanting to speak with someone who has used both.
