I remember test riding one when they first came out and have to say for the road they are on for the best middle weight sports bikes I have ever ridden as you don't have to rev the hell out of them to get a move on.
The 600 bike was a bit down on power which is why they moved to the 650.
Fueling on the bike was very smooth, great handling on the road and the bike didn't feel cramped like the Ninja 636 or CBR600rr that I also rode at the time.
I'm not aware of any issues that these bikes have had to be honest just do the usual checks and if its a good one you will have a great road bike. :upyeah:

    Cheers

    Steve

Cheers for that, not seen or read anything to put me off yet and as I'm quite tall it fits the bill perfectly :)

Yes, I'm only a bit over 6 foot and I remember riding the CBR600rr, the bike was fast, great handling and all but it felt like you were about 3 sizes too big for the bike and you were sitting with your head in front of the faring.

The 650 was a much physically bigger bike with a bigger stretch to the bars and just felt right :upyeah:

Would like to get a 650 but I already have 2 Daytona's and I don't think the missus would let me get another one
