Not really an ask for help just thought I'd share it.

Got up and road to work as usual, everything seemed fine, then left for a meeting and the display was flashing at me, rev needle not working? Humph. Came out of my meeting and started it up (it struggled a little) Jumped on and the display didn't even bother to flash it just stayed off. The bike road awfully on the way back to work, pulling through all the gears (reminded me of my first driving lesson). Parked up, turned the engine off - tried to turn back on but was as dead as a DoDo! - i didn't think it was a problem with the battery, it had not long been trickle charged.

Called Youles triumph Manchester - couldn't do anything till the 18th July! contacted a couple of local garages nothing till next week. So used my road side assistance through carol nash. With in the hour AA turned up, the guy was brilliant. He talked me through everything he was doing and gave loads of great advice. He checked the battery (dead) attempted to charge it which was happening really slowly so he checked the regulator rectifier and gave the connections a good clean and bit of lube. Now all appears to be doing fine, and charging much quicker. Hopefully that will be the end of it. :upyeah:

    cheers
