Blinking fast usually indicates a blown or badly-installed bulb.

or a wire not making the proper connection. I noticed that when I replaced mine the wiring didn't seem to match up as before so had to do a little plug and swop for a while.

It's effectively the same thing mate. The relay can't 'see' the bulb(s) either due to bad wiring, or badly installed or blown bulbs.

You can get them with std. bulbs or LEDS. Because LEDs draw so little current, they need a different 'special' LED relay.

mine aren't LED, I didn't go down that route as I didn't want to faff around with relays etc, just another thing to go wrong. I wired the front ones up and they worked fine, but when I swopped and wired up the rear ones one of the front ones stopped working and I got the rear one flashing rapidly so I swopped the wires round on the front one and they were fine
