As I posted this in another thread for someone I thought I'd put it in its own thread for anyone wit needs it.

Ok here goes, when you have your page on the web that you want to link to, go to the top and click on the URL when it is highlighted
    IMG_2027.JPG

Right click on it , for PC, or hold finger over it , on phone, to bring up this
    IMG_2029.JPG
Click on select all then copy
    IMG_2030.JPG
Once you have done this return to the forum type the word you want to make the link then highlight it. At the top of your post there's loads of options, one is shaped like a chain, aaah links!, in this case far left middle row
    IMG_2032.JPG
Click on that and it'll bring up a box marked URL
    IMG_2034.JPG
Click on insert and the copied URL will appear in there and the word you highlighted will then be the link!
    I hope:)

Or alternatively, assuming you are wanting to paste a link on forum thread and also you also have your browser open:

    1. click on the browser page address to highlight it, right click and select copy;

    2. Click on the thread where you want to paste the link (to open a reply box), right click in the reply box and select paste

    eh voilà : http://www.thetriumphforum.co.uk/threads/creating-a-link-in-a-post.7514/#post-76937

    Or Alternatively:
    1. Click on the browser page address to highlight it then hold the ctrl key down and press "c"
    2. Position your cursor where you want to post the link, single left click then hold the ctrl key down and press "v"

    Voila !
Or if the cursor is already positioned just ctrl&v
The ctrl&c (copy) and ctrl&v (paste) can be in different tabs.

Steady Steve, no-one's havin' a pop at yer, I just didn't understand why your method seemed a tad long that was all. Now I understand that you wanted to do something a bit more 'snazzy' than I normally do, so I'm going to have to try it.

    Aaaaahh

Wizzz bang or what !! I've wanted to know that for ages - many thanks mate.

Its called progress crispey ;), but what I couldn`t get my head round back in the day of working,we was all told that the new computer system would halve our workload and we wouldn`t need so much paper. Well that didn`t work did it, printers everywhere boxes and boxes of bloody printer paper and instructions to print everything because we needed a bloody hard copy. They called it progress:rolleyes::rolleyes: now even the bloody dog has to have a micro chip, wtf .
