After nearly dropping my T120 in a gravel car-park this morning, I'm now thinking of fitting some crash protection. In the past I've had R&G bungs, but I'm now also considering chrome bars. I was therefore wondering if any owners have fitted bars or bungs and what do you think of them (looks and ease of fitting etc.) Some pics would be good if you'd be so kind.
    Cheers all and stay safe.

I found the black bars hide well, and are great to mount day lights. There are a few options for T120, from full highway to engine protectors.

Is there any chance these bars could cause damage to the frame or engine in the event of a crash or fall over, more than cosmetic damage to parts where no protection bars are fitted?
    Regards,Ken.

I have heard that, I guess every drop is different. I saw a Honda 1100 that had been dropped stationary, it had just a few scratches on the fitted engine bars, and a bit of scuffing on the bar ends. That got me thinking about protection, especially concerned about reports of gearbox damage through the selector bending the shaft. Just not sure which or what would help, was planning to get the r&g engine case sliders or aero bars but not sure, they aren't cheap.
