OK. I love my bikes, and as always I'd like to get something better, newer, blinger. But I had a look at this Which is a Ducati wheel and I wondered what work would be necessary to clean mud, tar, crap etc off it after any sort of ride in our hallowed isles. Why TF aren't bikes easier to clean FFS ?
Sadly the designers don't have to clean them, so they don't consider the practical requirements of access to the bits behind the discs or many other parts of the bike.....
Can't see if this is the case here but also the bikes that still use a non right angled tyre valve drives me insane too. Makes it impossible to get dainty fingers in to top up the air
I use these on my Bonnie. https://www.demon-tweeks.com/bike-i...ViLPtCh3SgAZ2EAQYAyABEgJdaPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Great knuckle savers.....
The only thing I can fault the Ditch-pump for - stupid upright tyre valves! (almost impossible to access with spoked wheels) Come on BMW Triumph have been doing this for years!
Bloody hell I bet your pads don’t last long with those! Looks like the surface area in contact with the pads is also drastically reduced?
Be careful as my chinese shit thing had them and the centrifugal force cracked the original rubber valve stem resulting in rescue!!
