I'm looking for some advice as to where a convienient power wire close to the handlebars on an EFI Speedmaster - say under the tank?? I'm fitting a phone charger and I wanted to find a power wire that's wired with the ignition.
On my 2022 Tiger 900 Rally Pro there is a phone charging port (USB) under the rear seat. This only becomes live with engine running. Not ignition on, it actually has to be running. If your bike doesn’t have this perhaps the horn cable is worth looking at?
Yes, the horn circuit would be perfect I think....quite near the handlebars as well. Thanks for the tip.
