Connector found loose!

Hello folks....I have just been tinkering around with my Triumph ST Sprint 955 and have found a 3-pin block connector (black, green and purple wires) which is not connected to anything. It has a short lead length so cannot physically stretch very far but I still cannot see where it comes from. It is situated underneath the nose fairing and beneath the fuel gauge, next to the top of the right hand fork. Any ideas? I have tested all lights, horn and gauges and all work. Any help greatly appreciated.
