Compression

    hey what should the compression test read on a triumph speed triple T509 1998(EFI)?

    I believe it should be between 140 and 200 psi and no more than 25 psi difference between cylinders.
    Can't seem to find where I got that from though.

    i am reading 110 on the first and just 100 2n and 3rd on cold

    Numerous factors will affect compression readings but typically a compression ratio of 10:1 (your bike) should give 150-200 psi.
    Readings at the lower end are not necessarily anything to worry about if there is less than 10% variation between cylinders.

    If the engine was hot that is quite low.
