This one is a tad difficult to describe but here we go, when operating the clutch on my 2018 T100 there feels like a "notch" when pulling the lever in. Possibly a better description would be something that the older members on here would relate too is that horrible feeling one used to get when the cable strands were breaking just before the cable failed. This is where it gets weird, I cannot replicate this with the bike stationary, I have inspected the cable and all looks ok. I have tried with standard levers and also "Tec" levers and the condition is the same with both. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I have the same problem with my Street Twin, feels like a dry cable, or broken strands in the cable, I have removed and lubed everything, but it’s still the same, I have learned to live with it.

Your bike is 2018, as suggested quite possibly still in warranty?
Why not take it to a Triumph dealer and discuss the matter with them?
Arrange a test ride on another T100 and compare the clutch actions?
If you are not happy it will just eat away at you and spoil your enjoyment of your bike.
That is what I would do personally.

??? I have a 2018 Street Twin (5,000 miles now) and mine is smooth as silk. Always has been.
Warranty item? Have the shop look at it.

Agree with previous post, get it back to the dealers to have it checked over...

It could be the clutch cable is routed incorrectly, damaged cable or clutch adjustment.
Is the cable nipple sitting in the lever correctly.

First port of call the dealer the bike will have 2 years warranty from new.

Has anyone thought of trying to operate the clutch independently and see if the issue lies in that or its leaver?
