    Hi all.
Noticed a slight judder when pulling away in 1st on my 2021 Tiger 850 Sport. All other gears and changes are spot on.
This now is getting to me, and I’d like to fix/get it fixed.
What should be the first port of call - Plates? Springs? Anti-Judder plate (if there is one), thrust bearing etc., etc.
The other issue is that I cannot find any parts for the 850/900 model on World of Triumph or Fowlers. Perhaps this has common parts to an 800???
    Welcome any ideas here...

    How old is the oil?
Do some research on what is the best for this model and follow it to the approved specification.
Some bikes prefer semi synthetic over full but, as I don't have your model of bike you'll need to do some digging.

The oil was changed along with the filter at 5800 miles by the previous owner. The bike is now at 7800, with the next service due at 12000.
I do not know the make of the oil that was used but it was serviced by a Triumph dealer.
The oil recommended in the handbook is Semi or Full synthetic 10/40W or 10/50W to spec API SH.

As noted in my previous message, the bike is a Triumph Tiger 850 Sport 2021.

Having owned many versions of the Tiger, I do appreciate that the 955i model had issues with Fully synthetic oil regarding the clutch - it was too thick when cold. Dealers always recommended semi synthetic type to overcome clutch drag and even poor starting.

Hi fellow Triumphants. I ride a 2013 TEX and when I ride a longish road and the bike gets hot, it's like the clutch oil is evaporating... Not sure if this could be related but it's like the oil just disappears from the reservoir and goes...missing! Then it gets sticky and I can't get it into another gear... Don't see any leaks anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!

My TEX 2012 had a clutch issue where the slave cylinder seal leaked, and all the reservoir fluid entered the engine oil! Worth checking if you keep losing the fluid and it doesn’t come back…
Clutches shouldn’t get that hot, but if the issue is not the slave cylinder, try clutch fluid DOT 5 - it runs at a higher temperature (as in race bikes)
