    Hi

Is this wire holding bracket meant to be touching the clocks. It has literally scratched into the clock casing :-(

    Thanks for the input

The wire is there to guide all the wires/cables together. On my bike (2016) it'd nowhere near the clocks.
Have you done the headlight bracket change, which may have got them to close.
Guess you could just bend the wire.

I have removed the clip. I couldn't bend it using pliers. I am going to need something heavy duty. I'll have a look around.

I thought I bought a crashed bike. I did the hpi full check and all came out good. I checked the bike thoroughly for any tell tale signs of crash...headstock, stoppers, frame, forks, behind the clocks etc. I went through it properly.

What I don't understand is how us that cable guide clip is soo close to the clocks that I had contact with the clocks! !!!! I'm baffled

Right. I just read some n people use street triple brackets for lowering the headlights. Here is the picture of the street and speed. I'm going to see what sort of bracketsI have

Standard clocks n lights sit quite high and many owners have lowered them :)

Darkman you are spot on. Mine is lowered. Didn't the previous owner thought to do something about the clearance issue. I will try bending but somehow from the looks it will still have an issue. I might just remove the clip it all together n ride without

You think it will be ok to go without the clips. Cheers

All the little bar does is retain the cables, just make sure they are not doing more damage by rubbing something else.

I might just remove the clip altogether. Last thing I need is the clip getting caught with clocks :-(. If you zoom in....you will see the clocks are all the way lowered

I might put some locktite on the bolts n feed the cable tie neatly around the cables.

I just saw these two bolts that allows you to tilt the entire bracket up or down by loosening those to allen bolts. I think if I tilt the unit down a little then it will be fine. Am I on the right path or am I talking crap :(

    Thanks a million muzhik :)

It makes a lot of sense now. Mine has definitely been lowered. And I like the way it is. My only option now is to get rid of the clip and improvise something in its place.

Once again thank you for finding those posts for me :)
