Hi guys. I tipped of the bonnie like a retard. Just went on a curb and slowly went down. No much shock. Just could not cope with the weight on my left leg. Hahaha. What a moron... The clutch is bent. Everything else seems alright. But i'd rather be sure. Check the brakes, weel alignment, gear shift... what would I fail to check as a newrider ? Cheers guys.
Sam, Sam Sam, what are you doing? Anyway, glad you're not hurt, just a bit of broken pride. Regarding the clutch lever now might be the time to buy yourself some snazzy aftermarket jobies like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Clutch-Levers/178004/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=2014+Triumph+Bonneville+levers
And yeah, pride is having a low but I'' m mostly laughing how lame that was, in front of my kinda date.
Alright the clutch broke right off. Happy that did not happen while riding. I was testing its resilience to pressure. If you know I can buy another one...
Yeah that. D_basser has a spare and will come to replace it tomorrow. What a golden guy. Seriously fuck my life haha.
We've all been there Sam, It hurts until you realise you got away with it for a clutch lever !!! As for your kinda date , well I hope it brought a wee smile to there face
Ouch! Don't worry - we've all done it Sam - I dropped the Tiger not long after I got it whilst at a standstill. Just a broken indicator lens and no one around to see!
Many years ago I pulled up outside the tech college with all my class mate's watching. Looking really cool I slid on the gravel at the side of the road and drop my bike to full applause. Andy

All sorted since I am the kind of person who has a Bonneville clutch lever laying around on my hallway floor . In addition we discovered that the clutch cable on Sam's bike was set tighter than a dolphin's arsehole. With that sorted we may well have inadvertently fixed the phantom noises referred to in his other thread.
