I am going on my soapbox again. If anyone is serious about improving their riding skill then there are two things to do 1 buy the Police motorcycle roadcraft book, read, digest and practice 2 sign up as an Associate with your nearest IAM group, there you will be observed and mentored on six sessions on the road. If you do the course and pass the test you will be a better rider, your observation skills will be greater, your cornering skills greater, your life expectancy longer........need I go on, sign up and live
They are good but maybe not everyone would want to do the whole IAM thing due to time constraints. Most Police Forces do local Bike Safe courses and these are also excellent. I have been lucky enough that I am very good friends with a couple of Police Motorcycle instructors so I have had a lot of free instruction off of them. :biggrin:
