    Haven't been on here for a while this will explain why... Brought the Honda last to strip and do up

    Started to strip her image.jpeg sorry for the picture quality didn't look too bad when I brought the 600 but he further I go the worse it gets !!!!! image.jpeg Frame back from paint shop a few weeks ago looking 100% better already image.jpeg this is where I am now and will post more pics as I rebuild

    Great pics!

    Just a thought, have you introduced yourself to the CBR 6ers forum? What they don't know about 6er's aint worth knowing! Not pulling you away from this great bunch, just a suggestion if you get stuck along the build, or just want to say hi!

    I have introduced myself to the cbr 6er Fourm seem like a nice set of guys but can't get the pictures up on the forum

    Ah yea their forum using a much older system, bit of a pain in the bum. The easiest way is to put your pics on photobucket and then use the weblink on the photo and paste it in your replies......as I said, pain in the bum!

    Making progress image.jpeg rear shock in and swing arm bolted up
    On the to do list : clean carbs(waiting for carb kit from David silver spares)fit rad and fresh coolant new oil filter and fresh oil and hopefully she will run ok

    I brought one brand new in 1991 sold it a few years later for a zxr 750 and always regretted it
    This one is a keeper

    Bit more done today
    Carbs cleaned oil filter and bar end weights fitted rear wheel and chain now on
    Starting to look like a motor bike
    Still loads to do hopefully sort out a few issues then get the old girl up and running image.jpeg

    Hi Clarkey, your a bit further on than me, dont know what you think but i love working on Honda's everything seems easy to get at, and parts are abundant , a little less so for the grey bikes though, Great project and looking good:)

    Thanks I think it's looking great,fairing will be going back on going to get them resprayed all in the original colour scheme but that will be next year as funds are getting low Lol

    Thanks for all your comments the old girl is now running tried uploading a video but had no joy so far
    Still got loads to do but progress will now be slow as I have a builder starting on the 15th on our extention
