    I thought it was Jon Pertwee that had played him.
    Just goes to show ....
    RIP Catweazel you gave me a laugh as a kid, loved the show

    Jon Pertwee played Wurzel Gummidge - so that's what you are thinking of but Geoffrey Bayldon played the Crowman in that series as well.:)

    I thought he played Catweazel too. You live and learn :) Still I remember Catweazel and used to enjoy the show.

    Shame, I grew up with both those character's, I grew to hate that woman scarecrow (Una Stubbs) who was so nasty to Worzel Gummadge, when ever I see her know I always think of that!:(
    Note to self: FFS, its not real Terry, its only acting!!:eek::rolleyes:
