Go Pro Hero, with mounts on both bikes (don't like them on helmets). I'm happy with it, battery life allows for over two hours continuous recording, I have a spare battery which I can swap if needed, and an Optimate USB charging thing should I need to charge on the go.

 

Roadhawk Bullet cam mounted on handlebars, hard wired to come on with ignition. 32gb card constant recording in 15 minute segments with loop facility that overwrites the oldest recording if it’s not needed.

 

Sena Prism helmet cam. Rechargeable battery on HD lasts a couple of hours. Battery isn't removable and so you need to charge again before using. Microphone and earpiece for helmet comes with camera but uses same USB socket as a charging lead does. Advantage of using supplied mic is that it cuts out the wind noise of the built in external mic. Will investigate with Sena whether is a way of keeping the unit charged as well as using mic and earphone. Good quality pictures.

 

Cheap ebay action cam/gopro clone works fine no complaints about video quality etc.

Had a look at the Roadhawk website with a view (Geddit?) to getting a rearview bullet cam after previous mention - is it me or have the bullet cams been discontinued and the rest of the stock on sale 'while stocks last'

 

Just ordered the v sys front and rear (oo-er missus) from AliExpress. Looks good quality and a “mid range” price compared to some

Just an update Daffy. My cameras have arrived at the post office and they are hitting me with £16 customs charge. Hopefully yours may sneak through

 

Cameras arrived today. First impressions are that the quality of the equipment looks excellent. Very solidly built. I think you can test them from USB so may give that a go later.

Had forgotten that had ordered the 64gb card with it. All seems really good quality. Can only connect to the cables to the corresponding socket.

Not fitted yet as bike going in tomorrow to have the damage repaired from my knock off. Also waiting for the fog light bar to come from China to run both wires at the same time
