Almost certainly there will be an America with the new 900 engine.

 

It's interesting this because will an America 900 appeal to current America owners?
If it is a 900 is it only coming out because of the euro rules.
If both the above are true then I would not see it as an upgrade or a reason to change, I don't doubt it's a better engine but not such a leap I would think it's worth it. Plus I know the oil cooler is there but I do like the air look.

But if they do an America 1200 then I will seriously consider that and if good happily convert to a water cooled engine but the weight would have to be not much of a leap and the torque feel I would want to notice. So again I would consider not assume it was instantly worth it.

 

1. All the new range of twins are water-cooled;

2. The Speed Twin has loads more talk very the previous model even though it has less power (BHP) and apparently rides loads better; if the Speed Twin engine were to be installed in an America/Speedmaster version the engine would have almost the power(BHP) but loads more torque so should make an interesting upgrade.
