bonnie fuel gauge sender

hi bought fuel gauge for my triumph bonnie.problem is ---4 wires into sender unit on bike.only 1 wire on new gauge.(ps not an original triumph)help please

 

hi sam thank you for your reply,i can confirm. its an original bonni 2011 900 cc.the enclosed foto is underside 0f tank with 4 wires attacked to sender.cheers francie
