I am a newbie to the Forum and could use some help. My new-to-me 2001 Bonneville rattled one of it seat bolts out on a back country road and I am hoping to find a replacement. For the short term, I can use an ordinary bolt from a fastener shop. But the remaining bolt would like it's brother back. Any ideas where to source such a thing?
I don't know about Canada but if you google them they are in plenty of supply in the rest of the world
Worldoftriumph.com Fowlersparts.co.uk You can use their site to find the correct part number if they don't do worldwide.
The bolt you have shown is an aftermarket bolt which makes it easier to remove the seat, the standard bolt is a socket head and quite short. It is unlikely that you will find a matching bolt to the one that went walkabout but you should be able to find a matching pair from eBay or similar.
Thanks guys - never thought of Googling, figured they were to rare! Got a pair from Amazon with one day delivery.
Welcome to the family. Sorry and glad you got some replacement bolts. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your bike.
