Hi, UK expat here, lived in France for 25 years+. Went over to Kent this week and came back with this 2004 Daytona 600. Absolutely immaculate, really does look brand new with not a mark on it.

I like the fact that it's totally original (apart from the Fuel exhaust) and I intend keeping it that way. However, the orange indicators bug me a little. I'd really like to change them for genuine period clear lenses and, although I have come across a couple of photos online, I am having trouble actually tracking a set down to buy. Any ideas? :)

N.B. I have PS'ed the indicators on this image to show what I mean

Thanks for your warm welcome. I live near Lille in northern France, about 1hr's drive from Calais. A very dull area, but handy for nipping back to the UK for cars & bikes ;)

Re. the clear lenses, were they a genuine Triumph part, or a third-party offering?

Thanks. Yes, I couldn't quite believe how new it looked when I turned up to collect it, having committed to buying it on the phone. It's 11 years old, but in absolutely mint condition. I lucked out :)

When I picked up Kitten, she came from Roye, south of Lille - about 500 kms ride home south for me.
