Hi guys as you may be aware only had my 04/05 daytona 955i for 2 days before binning it due to asshole van driver. Any way I have all the bits except the intake fins on side of fairing and right hand fairing, I managed to track down an original rh fairing that has been primered ready for painting and for a bit extra money they will spray it too on ebay, so I paid for fairing and messaged them that I would like it painted in tornado red. No answer, 3 messages and no answer yet getting worried to be honest and didn't realise the real lack of used parts for this bike. Is their anywhere I should search for used parts for my daytona 955i as I didn't realise it was such a ball ache trying to find bits for these things, love the bike but lack of spare bodywork being available has got me questioning weather it was a wise choice buying this model, seems to be loads of the earlier 955i stuffhelp please or I can see me getting rid of this bike and going back to the jap stuff

I dont have the answer for you but it's a nice bike so got to be worth a bit of effort and once sorted you will have something to cherish there ! If you keep an active search on eBay something may turn up . Must be a place somewhere with spares... Good luck with your project !

Cheers mate I've bought a fairing panel off ebay and paid for it and messaged Them to spray it to which they do for a bit extra, I've just sent them my 4th message just cause they haven't replied to my other 3 and said I just need my mind put at rest. Loads of left hand panels on ebay but sod all right. It looks like I'm gonna have to buy rearsets too as well cause brake lever snapped but oh no its the s shape one off the 1050, found 1 in Eastern Europe and his couriers have just informed him that they have sent it to the wrong place and he will get it back in 3 to 4 weeks ffs. Just got a bad feeling about this bike and if the ebay seller with the panel don't message me tomorrow then I'm canceling it and getting shot of the bike, love the motor but I like to ride and not have bike in garage while Im hoping to find bits for. Totally gutted mate I really am

Hi Chipmeister, sorry you were the target for the van driver, was it one of the ever growing army of them tearing around the country delivering parcels? As said by Richard above, I'm sure if you're willing to be a little patient the parts will come up, maybe not to your liking but I guess there's the option of converting her into a Speed triple style street fighter. You'll be able to get a refund from eBay for the fairing part if the "seller" doesn't deliver.....all the best in getting her back to her former glory ASAP.

Cheers mate, Street fighter ain't my style have been thinking about it though. Just got one of those gut feelings this bike ain't meant to be mate. I usually take note of my gut feelings they usually ain't far off. If I don't hear from ebay seller tomorrow I'll probably cut my loses and move on to something else, may be one of the shortest stays on a bike forum lol thanks anyway guys I just didn't realise parts for these bikes were so scarce for their age. Thankyou

I understand what you're saying about gut feelings, if you do make the decision to sell her on you could probably do worse than put her on the "bikes for sale" on the forum, good luck and all the best in whatever you decide.

Will be sad to "see" a fellow rider hang up his leathers, but as you said about gut feelings and you're right about idiots on the roads.......all the best mate
