Well I've been waiting eagerly for this day for months .. but what a disappointment.

Taxed bike on the first of the month, day off on the second and the weather for once is glorious.

Took the covers off the bike and pushed it round to the front of the house, topped up the petrol, fired it up and took a few steps back to admire.

All excited for my first run out in almost a year then I noticed something ... drip drip drip

Petrol! traced the leak to the source which appears to be the pipe connectors to the tank itself.
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with these fitting so didn't want to meddle for fear of making it worse.

So I sadly pushed the bike back and on with the cover again until I can get the issue sorted :(

Hard luck! I'm sure it won't be too hard a fix.

Hopefully it's just a simple fix where the mechanic goes "you muppet, it's an easy fix ...... tighten that!" .. To be honest, I'm more used to nipple, hose and jubilee clip ..... fuel injection just complicates things ..
