It’s a very busy paint scheme as it is, gold/bronze wheels might look a bit chaotic. I’d lose the Bagster tank cover, looks a bit nasty.

I see what you mean..hmm maybe just black then. Bagster is now fitted properly and helps with grip.

I painted my Blade wheels red to match the fairing 'flashes'.... since bought a larger 17" front wheel & another rear wheel then had them both powder-coated satin black.
Yer pays yer money & takes yer choice!

Prefer the satin black? I've done stain black on my car a few years back with good results.

The previous owner changed mine from white back to black, IMO they look better original

My 1994 RR-R wheels were also painted the correct gloss black (although the front 17” conversion was a three spoker)

That’s the same as the bike I had
I had my wheels Powdercoated white because that was the original colour :)
Bloody pain in the arse keeping them clean though :(

Not so nice white, although back in the day everyone did it.

Seems like a few of us on here have or had blades!

Just got new brake pads front and back..will be cleaning the bottons on the discs this weekend to see if that will solve the very slight pulsing on the brake lever.

Also got 25 litres of parts cleaner and 10 ltr of brake cleaner from flebay, works out alot cheaper.

Ill clean up the wheels and see what state they are in..hopefully good enough for just a sand down and etch primer

My ST is a great bike, but early 893 Carbed Fireblades are my passion. Great to see so much love for Fireblades on the forum.

Have been a member of several other forums and nothing like our one..credit to all the members here we have kept it extremely active and catering for every taste. Even dare say bmw riders!!

I joined another fireblade forum and found not alot of interest in new members...just a problem/troll site.

I agree Moe, this a brilliant site and has a great feel to it, most other forums are dying.

 I’ve got a few bits and pieces lying about in my garage for these early Fireblades
    2 x end cans
    2 sets of original indicators
    Rentec grab rail
    Not sure what else

    I really need a clear out :(

All that stuff is worth proper money now, everything you mention I’ve already got, but someone here may be interested.

    What year are the silencers?

I'd be interested in the grab rail if it fits my blade.
