Hi, New boy. Sorry if this has come up before. I've just bought a Bonneville T100 Blk, 2003. High mileage but not in a bad condition. I'm in the process of customising it and looking at some of the other projects I'm considering putting bigger tyres on. Standard wheels are 3.5 x 17" (rear) and 2.5 x 19" (front). The standard (recommended) tyres are 130/80 17 (rear) and 100/90 19 (front). Pirelli actually recommend "Scorpion" 140/80 for the rear and the standard 100/90 for the front. I'd be grateful for any help/advice.
The 140's will fit fine but if I remember pirellis tend to look thinner than other makes of the same size
Oh, Hi Seb, good luck with your custom , cant beat the look of a big tyre at the back.............. unless your a girl.
Thanks for your help. Think I'll leave the standard tyre on the front (for now) and go for the 140 on the rear.
