Hi, I am looking to buy a T100 and I've found an 04 for sale, low mileage, one owner with a big bore conversion to 904cc apparently. Not knowing anything about this, are they to be avoided etc? Any advice would be much appreciated. Regards

With stuff like this it all depends who did the work, as if it has been done properly then no issues. But if it has been butchered by some back shed monkey then you may end up with a right mess on your hands.

Find out why the bike is for sale, If the bike has only just been changed then you should be asking yourself why?

Make sure you find out where it was done and who did it and see ALL the receipts for the parts and labor and then if you have any doubts whatsoever then walk away.

    Cheers

Thanks Steve. I have included the narrative from the advert.

"Owned from new. In excellent condition and always garaged. Triumph dealer installed big bore conversion, Norman Hyde exhausts, dynojet kit, performance air filter and grab rail when first bought. Centre stand fitted subsequently. Private T100 registration. Full dealer service history. 12 months MOT and 6 months tax. Sounds amazing and pulls like a train."
