Guys Blakey (Steve) one my mates and a forum member has been hospitalised today..
After test riding a new Daytona 675R he left the shop in Maidstone went a few hundreded meters down the road and a car decided to pull across him.
Fortunately he was only going slowly as it was after a bend but it was too late.... He apparently went through the windscreen and has broken his Tibia & fibia is in a bad way with a few other injuries but will survive....

His bike is in a bad way and as I know more I will update...

    Thoughts are with him

Your not wrong.. Very sobering... I think he is even contemplating his own vulnerability and if he gets rid of the bike......

He is I think 45... Spoke to my matevwhowas behind him and he has visited him today... He is ok but they have now mentioned they may not operate till 2-3 weeks time......give his leg time to settle down before they plate it....
I think he just wants to know what's going on......
