    Hello All,

Again new to the forum and new to Bonnies in general but am in love with my bike. Had a question about "starter" kits for keep my bike looking good.

    -So far I am thinking
    -rinse cold water
-Then Muc- Off, wait 5 min (I live in the states so any local brand yall know of would be appreciated)
-Scrub sediment off with micofiber cloth
    -Rinse cold water
-What kind of anti corrosion product on the polished metal pieces? (gear box, engine cover) Was thinking ACF 50?

    So I would need:
    Muc off Spray bottle
    Micro Fiber Cloth
    ACF50?

Its a brand new bike but just want to start thinking about what I am going to need after a muddy day.
    Thanks everyone!
    JJ

I'm in the same position as you - Speedmaster 2018 - and am thinking the same as you. I am using ACF50, bu where to apply it? Everything metal? Crankshaft casing? Wheels? Spokes?

Apply ACF50 to all metal parts, except brake disks!!!! but if your careful, OK on caliper and pins, just wipe on or use a small art brush

Wipe over bare and painted metal, will keep the rust away. Don't put on too think, or will attract muck and dust. I just spray in the region to be coated, then use a small square of cloth and just wipe over so the surface so it's wet. Job done.

Do this twice a year and your bike will stay rust free. The corrosion block grease is good painted onto any bolts, etc.

I use muc-off first when washing, then car shampoo and sponge it off. Muc-off can stain some bare metal, like the stainless fork shrouds on the America, so don't leave on too long, and don't let it dry off, that will mark bare metals.

Thanks, all useful advice. I watched the videos on the other thread: that chap keeps his bike in tip-top order - if rust ever dares to show its face on his bike it'll be zapped with all the facilities and concoctions at his diposal, up to and including the nuclear option!
