Hi Chaps any recomendations for some decent pads for the bonny have used EBC in the past and they seem ok or is it best to fit standard kit or something different

I only use EBC pads and have done so for perhaps 20 yrs.

I fitted EBC HH back and front on my Bonnie and they are very good with no issues.

HH pads are sintered i.e. they contain small metal particles with a higher co-efficient of friction than 'standard' or 'organic' pads. They bite better but eat your disc more. Personally, for road use, I prefer EBC organics which have better feel albeit requiring marginally more lever pressure. The organics wear a bit faster but are kinder to the rotor. On my T100 they are just fine. On a sports bike I would opt for HH or else what's the point?!

I've just put a set of EBC organics on my Tiger and they give lots more feel, at the expense of slight increase in lever pressure. But they do protect yer discs better.

It's OK, I have 3 shredded wheat for brekky...................................

Easier to go on their website and read their bumf on the differences in pad grade,
I must admit I was concerned about premature disc wear, but all seems okay after 3k miles
