I thinking of taking the baffle out of my arrow exhaust 2 into 1 on the scrambler, just a bit worried about how difficult it is to get the baffle back in just in case its a bit to loud, seen a few vids on internet, it doesnt seem to loud but you carnt tell off the computer sound i know, was just wondering if anyone has done it, and could let me know how they found it to live with cheers all and safe riding,:upyeah:

I would certainly give it a go. Looks easy enough to remove, flip a little clip out, remove the circlip at the end and then pull it out. May be a little tough to remove for the first time with build up of soot and carbon. Doing the reverse should not be an issue, just take your time and don't use force.

Normally you enjoy the noise for a while, then it becomes tiring on long runs.

I'd go for the full noise as they just sound so dam good.

Hopefully if I do this for long enough then I will be deaf enough not to hear the wife complaining

Removal and refit of a baffle is an easy job mate, should take you no time with basic tools.
Do it mate, set people's car alarms off lol :)

Yeah go for it mate - it will sound awesome. I "debaffled" my Bonneville recently, which is not reversible as you have to use a hole cutter on the end plate and then hit the baffle to break the internal welds. I am really pleased with the result, won't be as loud as your Arrow, but the bike doesn't sound like a sewing machine anymore and is loud enough to be noticed (especially in the narrow streets of Winchester!) without being too noisy and tiring on longer runs.

  6. DO IT !!
Triumphs should sound like the Triumphs used to sound back in the day....
I just fitted some new silencers on my Bonnie, the sewing machine sound has gone forever :upyeah: it sounds proper now.
The scrambler has attitude, so it shound like it has it in bucketloads
