Evening all, the internet was only just getting going when I last had a bike. I spent just over a decade riding fast Jap bikes - Blades, GSXR's, ZXR's and the last I had was an R1. I just woke up one day thinking "I'm done with bikes" and sold my R1 in a week. Well it seems I was wrong! My wife felt I needed a hobby after spending 2 years setting up my own business, so in jest I said " I'll get a bike"....she said "OK, sounds great". A week later I picked up a 2014 Speed Triple with 342 miles on the clock!! Bloody minter/like new. Looking forward to some good banter on here, maybe some tips on the bike and keen to get on some ride outs in the Southwest. I'm on the border of Somerset and Dorset (close to Yeovil). Devon is my old riding patch so always up for a blast around there too. EL.
Still needs running in! It's had its 500 already just cos of it's age. They had a mint triple R in white 12k on the clock, 12 plate or this one. I plan on keeping it a while so went for the lower mileage. Got it from unique wheels in Ringwood, worth keeping an eye on their website as all bikes are minters.
Welcome to the madhouse fack. Enjoy ya Trumpet and the banter in this 'ere forum. Ooooo did someone says pics
I've got a question about removing rear the hangers, do I post it here on the tech? Just wondered wot the best solution would be for the tailpipe bracket once the nearside hanger is removed? I was thinking just order some shorter M8 bolts, 25mm or 16mm maybe.
welcome in FackineEL got a triumph with less than five hundred miles need questions answered on how to change stuff and we have to wait at least a day or so for pictures what the fack !!!
Hi ya, welcome, I was living down your way in Bath upto about 20 mths ago, some cracking ride-out country down there, went to the Bovingdon tank museum & Yeovil Fleet Air Arm museum a couple of times, both as good as Duxford in their own rights. Used to show my ex mil Landrover at the Yeovil Steam rally too for a couple of years. Bath stinks!!!!!!!!!!!! Over priced, rated, just full of students! Still cant beat Scotland though, put some miles on the bike and see! Terry
