Avon 3D Sport

Put some new rubber on the Speed 3 today, after 3k miles and picking up a puncture in the rear last week it was a case of having to.
Anyway, after a quick chat with my local-ish tyre dealer on what they recommended and also had in stock I decided on the Avons, a slowish ride home (12 mile) turned out fine with the tyres turning in with little effort unlike the K3`s which I didnt get along with.
Hope to have a longer ride this week so will get back when they`re run in :smile:

 

Longer ride completed today...200 miles around North Wales in glorious sunshine (apart from the fog at Corwen). Have to say these tyres have transformed the bike for me, they corner effortlessly and I feel much more confident knowing I dont have to fight the front in a corner. Such a shame that summers coming to an end... but hey...at least they should be good in the wet too.
