Think the thrill of riding a bike is that nearly all possible senses are stimulated; the co-ordination of throttle twist with clutch control, the 'When to change gear?' combined with speed and gradient of road, when to brake hard and when to brake lightly taking into account the weather conditions, the brace of wind on cheek, the feel of leather on the other two cheeks, the twitch of sphincter when jumping a hump too fast and the serenity of lone adventure in pastoral settings. Automatic? Nah.....be like riding a fridge.
