Attaching Waxed Cotton Tank Bag To Street Twin Query

Ok got my Genuine Triumph tank bag for my Street Twin, after some searching on the internets, I have found the front straps can bolt to the rectifier. However I am unable to understand how the rear straps attach, even trying to jimmy something is vexing me at the moment.

There are to loops that you'd think somehow would have attached to the bolt that holds the tank down but I can see how that's possible with the straps supplied.

Anyone had to get around this problem on the ST?

Looks like it may be one where you run the strap around the frame and then pass the clip through the loop before clipping to the bag?

OK, the people I bought it from had a link to a secret manual cache!? So for anyone else wondering how to strap this on...

And it wasn't the rectifier, there's actually a couple of screw holes under the triple tree.
