Can't you use the bracket off the street triple?

Several of us have done the Street Triple bracket mod. It's relatively cheap and easy (as well as easily-reversible). I posted some before/after photos in this thread, taken from the same camera angle: http://thetriumphforum.co.uk/threads/shorter-headlight-bracket.6420/

The Street Triple bracket doesn't seem to tuck the whole assembly in as tight to the forks as the one you posted, but my brake cable rubs the clocks slightly nonetheless. I'd worry about that interference issue and maybe some others if it were moved any further (though it does look better - not sure if it's 5 times the price better).

Yes, the upper triple tree / triple clamp is I believe the same as you Brits call "top yoke," as opposed to the lower triple tree / triple clamp (assuming bottom yoke, to you). It's the piece that ties each fork leg to the steering head.

I notice that the pure performance set up is pictured with a different brake fluid reservoir and line routing than the stock piece (on my '14, at least). Not in the image that shows up on the main page - that looks normal. But when you click on THAT image, it gives a slightly different angle photo in which the front brake line and fluid reservoir are clearly different. I can't say for sure the close up shot is even of a Speed Triple and not a Street Triple.

    Makes one wonder...
