Ok, I know, no-one likes a smartarse! But I knew nothing of the MZ flat twin, although a mate at work, many years ago, actually had an MZ Trophy thingy, followed by an MZ TS250 - much easier on the eye!!

 

And while we're at it I have a MZ Skorpion sport sleeping in my harem of bikes.....

If I'm honest, I started on this biking malarkey in 1966 and some of things I learned/saw/picked up along the way seem to have got stuck in me brain. Then, just when I think it's safe, someone asks a question and all this safely stored nonsense comes dribbling (another sign of me age) out! "Ee lass, I know some stuff!!" Sadly it is mostly rubbish! SIGH!!
