    G'day All,

Dual Aussie/Brit almost completely new to bike riding (particularly road) and starting quite late but for some reason have an itch that needs scratching! Dad rode all his life but other than the occasional scoot around on dirt bikes (and a mini moto!) I've not followed suit until now. Plan is to go right in at the deep end and spend the winter restoring a rough around the edges 94/5 Triumph Sprint down here just outside of Oxford and go from there. A big bike to start I know but hopefully I'll be able to pop by here for guidance/tips as I am certain I'll need it!

Hi Flipper you are very welcome to the Triumph playground. Triumph Sprints are great bikes, just make sure the brakes are well serviced.

Yo Flip, good bunch on here, crazy sometimes, but so thankfully so am I. Sprint's a good bike, pal won't have anything else. Dual Aus and Brit eh good luck with that in World Cup :D

Cheers Rocker, happened upon the Sprint by chance as a mate had it lying around as spares for his Speed Triple and in very good condition. Really looking forward to getting my hands dirty with this one.
And having options in the World Cup is going to help, especially with that group. Unfortunately I was still just an Aussie after the recent Ashes series... ;)
