Hi when I removed mine I left the solenoid intact without the air pipes so the electrical connection was still present, two reasons,1: of do not have the cable to adjust maps, 2: It can not be seen and is not in the way were it sits.
yup that's another way of doing it, I went down the get rid of all route and as I had to re-map mine anyway I took that opportunity to lie to the ecu
