    "1930's Half Belt"

The jacket is 4 years old, purchased new March 2016.

    Deep moleskin lined hand-warmer pockets

    Non-pleated Half Belt Back

    Period Zipper (chest pocket)

    Internal pocket

    Heavier #10 main zipper

    Side adjusters

    Button Cuffs

    Classic 1930s Cut

This is Aero’s variation on the classic early 1930's half belt Horween Steer Hide Jacket. The back is a Half Belt with a four - section back (no pleats): large panel with top yoke, false belt and a lower panel beyond the false belt with strap and buckle fastening at the sides.

The cuff has a button closure and is more typical of the 20's and 30's than the Half Belt/Highwayman style cuff more commonly found on most post war originals.

Lined in hard wearing cotton drill as standard while the pockets are lined in trouser grade moleskin to maximize warmth, wear and tear. Designed for harsh climates and winter wear, this jacket is an understated classic from an era where longevity was expected of a leather jacket, no matter how harshly it was treated. This jacket will no doubt, become a family heirloom.

the jacket is shorter at the back

    Zipped p2p = 24.5”

    Shoulder to shoulder = 19”

Back from base of collar to bottom hem = 26.5”

Sleeve (from shoulder to cuff): 27.5”

    Waist= 22.5”

At the moment, I'm only willing to ship within the lower 48 US. Price is $500/shipped.

My intentions are to sell the jacket and put the cost towards the purchase of a pair of leather riding pants.

    And the pictures....
