Im planning over the winter to carry out a few mods and one being the bars on my 2014 thruxton.

Does anyone have any advice on whether ace bar style or clip-ons are better : im wanting minimal effort if possible with no cables needed changed.

Looked on squaredeals but cant see what im looking for ?!

    Thanks

My personal preference would be 'ace' bars - cheaper (usually) and a bit more adjustable than clip ons (up and down movement via the clamps).
Laverda Jota bars give even more adjustment but cost more.

Thanks and completely agree with adjustments: clip ons do look the dogs bollocks but for the price im not sure i can justify.

The Laverda Jotas i looked at before on tecbikeparts while considering their exhausts. Do you have a set Steve?

No, sorry. I once had a Laverda Montjuic many moons ago which had Jota bars, but that is not really too helpful, is it??
I did see some for sale recently, but I'll be buggered if I can remember where.
If I see them again I will post here for you.
