It's not for me I'm afraid, the next thing will be undroppable bikes like the BM piece of nonsense. Bikes are fine as they are, it's us that need 'correcting':rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Jayzus THATS FLASH!!!!
For me ill wait for the next version where it can drive itself home without falling over, One that can read the road & stop at junctions & move off when clear! Be great for getting home from the pub!

Enjoy all our bikes now gents as the future is gonna get real boring!!!

What a waste of R&D time, can you imagine it throwing a wobbler when you're riding at speed ?
Any F***er thinking of buying a bike with that on, ought to be made to have a sidecar or stabilisers fitted.

    That's a bit strong Mick.

Some of us senior gentleman may find this innovation helpful especially when our colostomy bag is getting full and it's content are sloshing around, it starts to effect the handling  even going in a straight line :p

I had actually toned it down a bit, I can't do with ridiculous bullshit nonsense stuff.

All the more reason for the stabilisers if the colostomy bag is throwing the balance off.
I hope you carry a puncture repair kit with you. lol.
(that is a joke by the way, I am in no way aiming to be derogatory to senior members being one myself)

I liked the part where she touched it, and it followed her. Imagine that, no more paddling into parking spaces in town!
Simple get off, get to follow you, and watch helplessly as a cheeky wee scallywag hops on and takes off on it. Though you can be happy in the knowledge he won't fall off at the next junction because it'll stay upright (and your insurance probably won't cover that either)

Obviously I'm being a bit daft, but I could see it happening!

One thing to note, is that it uses the forks moving forward and small movements in the front wheel to balance. This probably means that it won't be able to correct a bike that is falling over (i.e. once it's past the tipping point), but rather only be able to maintain an upright bike.
More importantly, it's just something else that can go wrong and cost a lot of money to repair/replace.
I can see the benefit for small capacity commuters that spend their lives in town though.

If I ever require a bike to do the balancing for me......I guess that might possibly the day I decide to hang my leathers for good :(
