I've got a good quality rear paddock stand, but the pin is to narrow for the speed triple it obviously fits in but i would be happier if i could get some sort of adapter(maybe it's not called that) that would fit over it and make a snug fit.I've searched the web but can't seem to find anything.is there such a thing and if so where can i get one?

If you know the manufacturer try emailing them, if you don't know, you're probably going to struggle, sods law says each manufacturer will have a slightly different way of fixing the pin. :(
My previous bikes have had center stands and only had a paddock stand for the wifes 675Daytona so was in a similar situation. I ended up buying an Abba stand and the extra adaptors so I could use it on both bikes, pleased with it, more stable than the paddock stand and like a center stand you're taking most of the weight off the front wheel too. So I use a strap round the top yoke and over a roof joist so I can take both wheels out for a tyre change. Only criticism is the Abba stand catches the side stand and part folds it back, so you need to be careful to remember to fold it back down as you let the bike back off the Abba stand.
