    Greetings people,
I'm thinking of treating my new steed with ACF 50 but I have no experience regarding how good or bad it is. Any help and advice re the quality actual worth of ACF 50 will be greatly appreciated. I am trying to avoid long term corrosion and deterioration of the tricky to clean parts of the bike so any advice re application etc would be great.
    Thanks for any help/advice received.
    Regards, Pete.

Hi Pete. You might be interested to see the Anti CorrosionTest thread lower down this page, and look up the Missenden Flyer on youtube for how to apply it.
I too am starting out on the ACF50 adventure.

Try putting acf50 in the search function and come back in 2 months when you’ve read all the threads, aaah I see why you asked now

ACF50 is great, if you ride all weathers then a coating for the summer and a new coat every month in the winter! :)

ACF 50 is the dog's dangles.

Spray on, wipe about using small bit of cloth, save small bit of cloth for next time, or just touching up. Don't just spray, uses too much, and makes it messy.

Oh, and get some nitrile gloves, it's a messy job.

Easy to use. Spray onto a cloth and apply. I use it on my Thruxton R casings. I still use WD40 to clean and protect my wheels. Bought my ACF50 off Amazon. Came with a spray bottle.

I spray it on using the small spray bottle provided, then spread it around with a small paint brush.
Give the bike a nice dressed look

I've started to mix it with WD40 as it helps spray it as a mist, is a bit gloopy otherwise

I am currently using FS365. Once it finishes I am looking to get the ACF50

Is it worth it using those guys? I see they charge 70 quid to apply ACF-50. Seems a little steep, considering you can buy enough to last a couple of years for about 25 quid.

Yes, I am doing. Will do. Have ordered from Sportsbikeshop. Just wondered what Jaykun85 thought of the job the All Year Biker lot do...?

Wipe ACF50 on sparingly with a cloth. You only want a thing layer and it spreads. It's well worth the effort, especially for anyone who rides a rust bucket like a Harley.

I buy it in a bottle as opposed to spray can and warm it up in hot water. I bought a second hand model compressor (£20) and the fine mist gets where ever I need it to go. Several years on still working well.
