That's quite interesting. Will let you know later. But interested.

I'd love to, but Brighton will no doubt be rammed and it might just have come a bit too soon for me to be comfortable with it. I'm gong to give it some serious thought, though.

Sounds fun - except the going to Brighton bit. Every time we have passed through we get trapped by the insane anti-vehicle road layouts.

Along the front where there was already a serviceable (largely unused) cycle lane they shut down a whole other lane on the road. Cars now park seemingly in the middle of the road with a cycle lane (empty) on one side and a jam packed stationary (often) lane to the right.

    Environmentally friendly my arse…

    ;):joy:

Seriously though it might be interesting. I’ll have to look at the route as the M23 and A23 are not the most interesting of roads to ride.

    Edit:
Just looked at their website. The route is Route A406 – A40 – M25 – M23 – A23 to Madeira Drive. Pity as there are some lovely routes they could have chosen.

I live near Brighton and will be going up to it via the south down stopping for a brew at Ryka's cafe.
I think they are taking the main roads to keep the small villages happy in case 500+ loud bikes come through on a Sunday morning.
I suggest everyone should take a more scenic route home afterwards - the roads are brilliant.
